We've witnessed Action Thrillers like Goodachari, Uri: The Surgical Strike, from the past years, ruling the box office even weeks after their release. Movies like these have made a mark in people's mind and are recieving great encouragement. One such Action Thriller with mounting expectation is Saaho, also being Prabhas' next venture after the magnum opus Baahubali. Expected to make the audience hang tight to their seats with its action and set pieces, the team released the teaser of Saaho today at 11:23am and here's is my take on the teaser. SPOILER ALERT if you've not watched the teaser

Let's discuss what worked for me in the teaser. Firstly, the teaser is a treat to watch in terms of its Visuals and Action Choreography along with its setpieces. The cinematography and the action are Jaw Dropping covering the dynamics and reflexes perfectly, the cinematography uses a palette of uni shaded colours like deep blue, deep brown and black along with highly saturated orange and sky-blue to give a feel of a crisp and skirmish feel. He adds up the effect by setting a skewed framed and capturing the slinging action.

The look of the actors, that is the makeup and art design fares well. Especially, Prabhas looks manly right from the hair to the shoes showing him muscled and machismo. The choice of opting for actors from various movie industries along with Telugu gives the scope for the movie to be enjoyed better by all the audience. Ghibran's background score is apt and supplements the teaser by setting the mood.

Now, the factors which fell short of my expectations. The movie's VFX doesn't hit the right quality at times. The VFX does enhance the director's vision and creativity, the colours and graphics, in a few frames, don't grade up and create a jarring impact making it a bit mediocre. The Sand Dunes sequence shown is the most disappointing among all, though, from the glimpse shown it looks a bit commercial in terms of the fights, the VFX work could've been done well as the atmos can be spotted out to be unreal.

The dialogues fell flat, though we have got just 2-3 lines of dialogues in the teaser, these lines don't add up in a satisfactory way. The cheesy one liners and the duality in writing the dialogues with both melodrama and serious intent were the unsung heroes of movies like Goodachari. The dialogues in the teaser don't give away that stuff, feeling clichéd and routined. The accent of Shraddha Kapoor is apt and feels fresh to hear, but slightly dips with her pronunciation which can surely improve.

In conclusion, though some factors might seem appealing and some being a letdown, nobody can predict how these factors actually turn out and what exactly the movie is having in its pocket which can impress and create magic. We have to wait until the movie is in theatres. I sincerely and wholeheartedly hope this movie to create wonders at the box office and make new records.
